About
The Permanency Enhancement Project (PEP) model engages community stakeholders and policy makers who jointly develop local policy and practice solutions aimed at reducing racial disparities and improving permanency outcomes for children within the Illinois foster care system. The Permanency Enhancement Project consists of six regions (Cook Central, Cook North, Cook South, Nothern, Central, and Southern). Within each of these regions are Action Teams that meet to discuss different aspects of the Illinois foster care system and strategize ways in which better outcomes can be achieved.
